Last blogged @ 8:15 PM A LEVELS PROJECT WORK RESULT RELEASE TODAY!
. . . And i got my A!! (: One year of hard work paid off. Actually, i didnt really work hard for it exactly. My group was rather slack. The entire cohort this year did well. I heard that we have got 84% A. Thats quite good i suppose. I was so excited when i heard the announcement regarding PW result release during assembly this morning. I still remembered looking at the results of my senior batch that was posted on the notice board last year. And browsing the lists, there were mostly 'B's. So scary mans. But this year's lists are filled with 'A's. I feel so happy for everyone (: When i was first introduced to the A levels PW last year, it sounded so hard and crazy. It seems so impossible for me to do what it is expect of us. Its like so freaking chim. I remembered how i struggled with my PI. Cracking my brain and spending nights thinking about it. But yet still ending up with not a single idea how to start on it. I remembered doing all my PI, I&R and EOM last minute in the midnights. Chionging like some freak. And it sucks having to edit, edit and edit them over and over again. Draft after drafts. Its was so time consuming and head-aching mans. Then we got into our MOE assigned group. That is me, aloysius, chrisan and terri. I remembered how i used to dislike the idea of MOE choosing our groups for us and feeling unfair that my group had fewer people than the other groups. But well, it is not the quantity but the quality x) My group was the slackest amongst all other groups. Always the last one to complete our work. Our WR was the ultimate. We havent even started on the first draft when all the other groups are almost done with their final ones. I remember Mr Soh repeating "i think i havent seen Aloysius group's WR..." almost every single PW tutorial. My group was also the craziest in the class. The ones having the weird and unusual ideas. Always getting so excited in our discussions. My group did the project on modernisation of healthcare services and our target group was the mental patients. So in our project we got very excited imagining things and sometimes got very carried away. In our final proposal, we designed a very high tech mental hospital. Cool huh?! And according to our tutor, our group was the only group in AC doing the positive impacts of modernisation as all the other groups doing modernisation did the negative impacts. (we were given 2 topics to choose from 1. journey 2.modernisation.) In fact, my group seldom meet up for discussions. We usually make use of our pw lessons. Or rather we are lazy to meet up. Only towards the end of the year when we were chionging our WR and OP, we started to meet up more often. But our meet-ups are usually ineffective anyway as we always go out of topic and ended up fooling around instead of doing our project. I remember going to chrisan's house for PW once. We went there with our laptops in the late morning. We allocated some part of the OP slides for each of us to do. We were suppose to complete our part on the spot and compile them together, but we ended surfing the net and blog hopped for about 1 hour. Then we felt hungry and ordered pizza delivery. Spent another hour eating and chit chatting. Then all of us went out to buy drinks together, wasting another 1 hour. After we returned to chrisan's house, we sat down for about 30mins and we had to leave for our CCAs. LOL! So out of the near 5 hours of meeting up, we spent only less then 1 hour doing project. I remember meeting at MACs with our laptops, frantically looking for plugs. Aloy with his super long extension cables. Hahas xP My group was always the group lagging behind until the OP. For some reasons ( largely because of our usual crazy ideas), we were the first group to complete our OP stuffs. HAHA!! Remember how we prepared our scripts and rehearsed our roles? Staying in school till late night and practicisng our lines over and over again. Michelle Aloysius Chrisan Terri. Our TOTALLY TEMASEK talkshow. Our MACT channel. Our hamilton mental hospital with the wonderful technologies. Our degrees and honours. Our unforgetable role playing characters. We do make a great PW group all together yea?  Thinking back, i actually missed the PW days. Haha. Funny right? Though it was tough, we really had fun together. School today was as normal as it can be. Went to ACSI to support the waterpolo match after school today. 3th and 4th placing. We lost. It was a tough game. We tied 7-7 and had extra time and tied 3-3 again.(if i didnt remember the scores wrongly) So it ended up with shooting the ball into the goals. We lost by one miss. But well, it was a good game. The game was suppose to end at 3 but it ended almost an hour later.   Trained home alone after the match and reached home at about 5.30pm. Super tired. Tomorrow's GOOD FRIDAY, so no school. *YEAH!* Going to sleep early and wake up late tmr xp I need my sleep~ |
